stay in the canyon

We’re going to be spending the weekend in the canyon where there’s hiking, shopping, cafes, and views. The best way to stay in Topanga is at an Airbnb; look for something relatively close to Topanga Cyn Blvd (i.e., in Fernwood or Wildwood). We booked a few large Airbnbs with no cancellation fees for groups of 6-8 just to make sure they wouldn’t book up, so if you plan to stay with friends text us.

stay at the beach

On the other side of the canyon is the beach. We recommend the Malibu Beach Inn or the Surfrider Hotel Malibu if you want to make a vacation of it and stay at the beach. Normally, these hotels are also about a 20 minute drive from Elsewhere. As of right now (March 2025), Pacific Coast Highway is closed due to fire damage, which means these hotels are more like a 40 minute drive to Elsewhere. We expect PCH to be open by the summer, but it might be best to check before booking.

stay in the valley

We have a room block at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills (link to room block included here!), which is a convenient option — about 20 minutes to Elsewhere driving.
